• Criminal defense: Much of my law practice has focused on defending adults and juveniles who are facing felony or misdemeanor criminal charges, particularly drug crimes. 
• Traffic violations: I defend people who are facing the loss of their driver’s licenses, huge increases in insurance premiums, fines, and even jail time because of traffic citations or speeding tickets. In particular, I represent commercial drivers who have run afoul of the host of commercial traffic laws and industry regulations that affect them.
• Family law and divorce:  I look for reasonable, cost-effective solutions for clients with family law issues. There is no point in running up your legal bill pursuing difficult and expensive litigation if an alternative method of resolving your family dispute will work.
• Estate planning, wills and probate
• Business law
• Animal law: This is a developing area of law relating to the immediate care and long-term care of pets—dogs, cats, horses, and other companion animals. I stay abreast of developments in this legal area.
